Translated by Jodas 2: Daily Lives of a New Teacher and the Apprentice MagesCore Characters
Tia Vogel / Folulutia
Apprentice Mage at the Wedge Tower. Her true identity is a Harpy from Breakneck Gorge. Her wings were originally rainbow-colored.
She is a Queen Harpy, so the imbued mana and directionality of her songs are extremely strong. Even though she is a ‘Queen,’ she didn’t receive particularly special treatment from her flock. Harpies only thought of Queens as somewhat stronger Harpies.
Wren Bayer
Son of a mistress to the President of the Bayer Trading Company.
He was kept in a gilded cage and left to rot, so he has little knowledge of common sense.
Has a special talent for copying peoples’ handwriting.
Adelheid Sevil Lamea Krewing
An Imperial Princess. Younger half-sister to the Black Lion Emperor, while also being his cousin. (Their mothers were sisters).
She rides across the battlefield wielding a curved sword, giving rise to the derogatory title of “Barbarian Sword Princess.”
Smoke Fox / Caspar Hütter (Fake)
A third-rate con man who infiltrated the Wedge Tower on the orders of the Black Lion Emperor.
He intended to dig into the higher-ups to investigate the reason behind the falling out between the Emperor and the Wedge Tower, but he has been too busy instructing the Apprentices to make good on that. He is a man who often puts the cart before the horse. He knows a lot of party tricks.
Apprentice Mages
Röhm’s Class: Taught by a genius woman who uses both Modern and Classical styles.
Roswitha Ohlendorf
A girl with fluffy orange hair tied into two braids, topped by a pointy hat.
Hails from a famous Classical School mage family. Has complaints about the treatment of contracted spirits by Modern Magecraft.
Ella Frank
Ties her sand-colored hair in a braid and wears glasses.
Diligent and polite. Near-sighted, so can’t see without her glasses.
Sophie Schwarzenberg
Black hair with one purple lock on each side.
Likes shiny little things and frilly clothes.
Sombart’s Class: Taught by a Modern Magecraft specialist who prioritizes practicality.
Julius Löwenich
A guy with black hair who laughs like “ku, ku, ku.” Snake-like.
His father, a famous practitioner of Modern Magecraft, was exiled from the Wedge Tower.
Appears to have formed a contract with a Greater Spirit.
John Rose
A red-haired, fluffy, buff man.
Is actually a foreigner, so is not used to cooking with potatoes. Fell in love at first taste. Potatoes are delicious!
Oliver Lange
A man with brown hair slicked up into spikes. The “Red Rain.”
Lives a very regimented lifestyle.

Him and Sophie are the youngest of the Apprentices at thirteen years of age.
Gerald Anker
Black hair with long bangs.

Owns a sword.
Mages of the First Spire: White Smoke

Melchior John Hegelich
Director of the Guidance Office. A blond, bowl-cut, four-eyed old man.
The only Modern School mage among the Directors of the First Spire, so is politically isolated.
Anneliese Röhm
Member of the Guidance Office. A young woman with short bangs.
Researches both Classical and Modern Magecraft.
As a result of damage to her mana organs, her mana reserves have significantly drained.
The former ace of the Extermination Office.
Sombart
Member of the Guidance Office. A blond, good-looking man. Always smiling, showing off his white teeth.
Will gleefully deliver bad news. According to Hütter: “Smiley bastard.”
A mage who specializes in Modern Magecraft.

The men who allowed our heroes to accompany them on their mana density survey. All of them are very nice.
Many former members of the Extermination and Protection Offices who have difficulty standing on the front lines on account of their age go to the Investigation Office.
As a result, they could fight well enough to hold off a Snow Boar.

There are rumors he killed his own father to ascend to the throne.
Coups d’état are an everyday affair to him. Lately, his little sister has gunned for his life.

A woman who works under the Black Lion Emperor. Her thick eyebrows are a charming detail.
Has infiltrated a nearby village and receives reports from the Smoke Fox.
Caspar Hütter (Real)
The real Dream Mage. Is currently in a neighboring country called the Kingdom of Ridill.
As the Princess he serves is nearing her wedding date, he has been driven half to death running around to prepare for her security. He has no idea that his imposter is spreading huge lies about chantless illusion magic.
Poppo Three
One of the pigeons Hütter takes care of. She’s a bit of a haughty tsundere lady.
“Poppopo, popopoppo, po, kurururru……poppo!!!”
(Translation: I felt such pity in you dancing for my sake that I just had to come back! It wasn’t like I was lost or anything!)
Monsters
Jack
A Monster in the form of a silver-haired young boy. Wears clothes with icicles dangling from them.
