Unflappable and tomboyish, but could show lust if she wanted to. Regardless, her overpowering aura would drown out the sexual appeal.

The Headmaster. A tall, silver-haired swordsman.
Wields the Ancient Magical Artifact ‘Ignatius, the Severer.’
Classmates and former best friends with Otto from the Protection Office. A man who never gets invited to drinking parties.

Miriam
Assistant Headmaster. A blonde beauty in a nun’s habit.
Deeply religious. Has a poor throat and cannot sing.
Former Director of the Library Office, holding the position prior to Director Linke.

Abel
Spiremaster of the First Spire: White Smoke.
A gentle auntie who’s always smiling.
Assumed the title of Spiremaster following Samuel Löwenich’s fall from grace.

Lowein
Spiremaster of the Second Spire: Golden Needle. A one-armed old man.
Has a big, scary voice. Master to Frederik and co.

Alto
Spiremaster of the Third Spire: Water Bubble. A straightforward old lady.
Has the touch of an artist. She’s an old-timer in the Wedge Tower, and has known Old Man Kappel for ages.

Melchior John Hegelich
Director of the Guidance Office. A blond-haired bowl-cut glasses-wearing middle-aged man.
A Modern School mage who was familiar with Samuel Löwenich.
Samuel rather favored him.

Anneliese Röhm
Member of the Guidance Office. A nice young lady with short bangs. Suffers from mana organ damage.
Former rivals with Extermination Office Director Haydn and a mentor for Frederik and crew.
Detection and Reconnaissance were her specialties. She was a genius with the title ‘The Hundred-Eyes Witch.’

Sombart
Member of the Guidance Office. A bad man who loves bad men.
Adored Samuel Löwenich and proposed to cooperate with Hütter in order to learn the reason behind his expulsion.
Hütter’s internal assessment of him has been demoted from ‘smiley bastard’ to ‘smiley piece of shit.’

Armster
Member of the Guidance Office. A jittery teacher.
Occasionally appears in the garden, but…?

Frederik Lange
Member of the Extermination Office. Mr. Smiley who excels at flight magic.
His father was eaten by a Monster, and he hates Monsters more than anyone else.
Concerning Helena and Rikard, his thoughts are ‘Why do you suddenly turn into idiots?’

Helena
Member of the Extermination Office. Frederik’s classmate.
A Saint of the Ras Belsch Orthodoxy. User of the Ancient Magical Artifact ‘Eurydice, the Cackling Foam.’
Was once fixated on behaving as a Saint should, but learned to guard her mind through self-pity, so now just says rude things casually.
Concerning Frederik and Rikard, her thoughts are ‘Repent, you worthless losers!’

Rikard Oks
Member of the Extermination Office. Frederik’s classmate. Wields an axe.
Wants to be the kind of Monster Hunter who sings and dances, making people laugh. As he fights with his feet planted on the ground, tries his hardest to come up with new jokes.
Concerning Frederik and Helena, his thoughts are ‘What weird people…’

Member of the Protection Office. A tired, middle-aged man.
Classmates with Headmaster Möbius.
Lost his wife and child thirteen years ago.

Director of the Management Office. An old man and an inventor.
A frequent drinker and rumormonger.

Winston Barrett
Member of the Management Office. Specialized in long-distance flight. Holds the record for longest flight magic distance in a neighboring country.\

Director of the Library Office. An elegant woman with long hair tied in a bundle.
Controls Monsters sealed in books. Sophie’s mentor.

Samuel Löwenich (Deceased)
Julius’ adoptive father. Was exceptionally talented both as a mage and as a man of wealth.
Rose to the rank of Spiremaster of the First Spire: White Smoke in order to grasp the knowledge of the Wedge Tower, but fell from grace.
After being expelled from the Wedge Tower, suffered from a strange illness that rotted away at his internal organs. Long ago, when he was working at a magical academy, defeated Hegelich in a factional conflict. Despite that conflict, Hegelich caught his eye. Samuel wanted to make him his right hand man, but he refused.
Hegelich was unaware that doing so only made Samuel even more interested in him.
